How Many Summers Do You Have Left?

Life moves faster than we think. One moment it feels like everything is ahead of us. Then one day, we look back and realize how much time has passed.
The truth is we only have a limited number of summers. A limited number of days to feel the sun on our face, to laugh with friends, to say what we need to say. We assume there will always be more time.
There will always be another trip, another conversation, another chance. That is how people and opportunities begin to slip through our fingers.
The people you love will not always be here. Neither will you. Every moment you spend distracted or disconnected is a moment you cannot get back.
Do not take it for granted when someone shows up for you. Do not overlook the small opportunities that could open bigger doors. Do not wait to say I love you, I forgive you, or I miss you.
We often chase what is next. We crave what we do not have. In the process, we lose sight of what we already do.
Gratitude is not about pretending everything is perfect. It is about recognizing that this moment is a gift. This summer. This person. This chance.
You cannot pause time, but you can be present. You cannot control what will come, but you can honor what is here now.
Ask yourself: how many summers do you have left? Then ask again: how many of them will you truly live?
Choose to be present. Choose to make it count.
